The Galaxy Lights at Space Center Houston is happening right now. Most of us must have wondered about outer Space, the stars, the moon, and the sun. It's just too fascinating not to think about it. Something so breathtaking to our eyes and yet so unreachable. The outer space galaxy lights have always been intriguing, but we don't get to see them everywhere, given the pollution rate in our surroundings. Finding a clear sky to see the galaxy lights is difficult.
In Space Center Houston, you can experience the galaxy lights and many more than that. You can find yourself watching two high-tech kinetic light shows. It's a choreographed sequence of dozens of suspended lights. They are also putting up the original film "Holidays in Space," which includes interviews and actual footage of astronauts celebrating holidays in Space. The film can be seen in Destiny Theatre every 30 minutes from 6:15 pm to 9:45 pm.
Deep Space Backyard
Every year, the space center puts up something new, and this year they have come up with the new Deep Space Backyard. You can go through a journey of the solar system, walking underneath the stars among large displays of astronauts exploring Space. They will also have crystal fireworks on a 40-foot-tall cascading light display composed of different galaxy colors. You should also note that this is only one of the two crystal fireworks displays in the world.
Independence Plaza Experience
The independence plaza, presented by MLN, has a 200-foot LED light tunnel made of more than 250,000 lights synchronized to festive holiday music. You can explore the solar system through their massive models of planets along the path.
Tribute at Space x Falcon 9
You can see a space station tribute at the SpaceX Falcon 9. You can also explore the lights around the twice-flown SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. There's also a display of six aluminum 20 - foot lit trees representing space center partners, namely the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan, Russia, and Italy. The trees are decorated culturally, attributing each partner nation. There are also two massive shooting stars of 40 foot tall and 100 foot tall, which is definitely a selfie worth background.
