Orange to Houston: Route, Distance & Pricing
Orange sits in Orange County at the eastern edge of Texas, right on Interstate 10 just minutes from the Louisiana state line. From most Orange addresses (ZIPs 77630, 77632), George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) is roughly a 108-mile, 2-hour to 2-hour-45-minute drive westbound on I-10, depending on time of day and Houston traffic. The corridor passes Beaumont, Winnie, Anahuac, and Baytown before reaching Houston's East Loop. For IAH we exit north on the Sam Houston Tollway / Beltway 8; for William P. Hobby (HOU) we continue south on I-610 East Loop / I-45 South toward 7800 Airport Boulevard. Because Orange is roughly 2 hours from the terminals, we recommend leaving at least 4 hours before a domestic departure and about 4.5 to 5 hours before an international flight so the drive, check-in, and security all happen with a buffer.
Every ride is private and door-to-door: we pick you up at your home, office, or hotel anywhere in Orange (and nearby West Orange, Bridge City, Pinehurst) and take you straight to your terminal at IAH or HOU — no central bus stop, no transfers, no sharing the vehicle with strangers. Based on recent Orange-area trip history, fares for the private door-to-door ride typically start around $212 for a sedan and depend on vehicle size, passenger count, and exact addresses; enter your pickup, drop-off, and party size in the online booking tool to see your flat quote before you book.
East Texas pickups along the same I-10 corridor
If you are traveling from one of the communities along the I-10 corridor between Orange and Houston, we run the same private airport service from each of them:
Travel tips for Orange riders
- Reserve early-morning departures the night before. Many Orange riders catch sunrise flights out of IAH or HOU; reserving in advance guarantees a vehicle is held for your exact pickup time instead of relying on last-minute availability.
- Share your flight number on airport pickups. Your driver tracks your inbound flight, so you are met on time even if the flight lands early or is delayed — and you are not charged extra for normal flight delays.
- Build a buffer around Houston rush hour. The Baytown-to-Beltway-8 stretch of I-10 backs up roughly 7–9 a.m. and 4–7 p.m. on weekdays; for flights in those windows we add extra time to your Orange pickup so you arrive at the terminal with the same buffer as an off-peak trip.
- Round trips save more. Booking your return leg (Houston back to Orange) at the same time locks in your ride home and, with promo code ONLINE, takes 10% off round trips booked on the website.
- IAH vs HOU choice. If your itinerary works on either airport, HOU is usually a slightly shorter drive from Orange via I-610 South than IAH via Beltway 8 North, but IAH has more international and connecting service. Pick the airport with the best flight, not the closest terminal — either way our flat door-to-door fare is the same per route.
