Van Airport Shuttle
Texas Shuttle's passenger van service is built for groups — weddings, corporate trips, sports teams, family travel, and large airport transfers anywhere in Texas. Our van shuttle service to airport terminals statewide is the most common use case — one van, one driver, door-to-door, 24/7, with capacity for up to 15 passengers. Our vans seat 8 to 15 passengers with room for luggage, so the whole group rides together in one vehicle instead of splitting across multiple cars.
We run door-to-door from any Texas address to DFW International, Dallas Love Field, Houston IAH, Hobby, Austin-Bergstrom, San Antonio, and any other major or regional airport in the state. Flat-rate pricing, no metering, no surge — the quote you see at booking is the price you pay.
Common uses for our van shuttles include wedding-party airport pickups, corporate group transfers, conference shuttles, sports team travel, family reunions, cruise-port transfers, and any time a sedan or SUV simply isn't big enough. Drivers are professional, vehicles are insured for commercial passenger transport, and your flight is tracked so a delay doesn't strand the group.
What Time Will My Group Be Picked Up?
Pickup time is set based on your departing flight (or the earliest flight in the group) so everyone arrives at the airport with enough time to check bags, clear security, and board together. Our dispatcher accounts for traffic and the airport you're flying out of.
How Much Luggage Can a Van Hold?
Our passenger vans comfortably carry one checked bag and one carry-on per passenger plus additional items behind the rear seat. If your group has unusual luggage — golf bags, ski gear, instruments, wedding dresses — tell us at booking and we'll right-size the vehicle.
What Happens in Case of a Flight Delay?
We track every booked flight. If your inbound flight is delayed or your outbound flight is moved, the dispatcher reschedules the pickup automatically — you don't need to call. For group return trips, the driver waits curbside until everyone is together before departing.

Van Shuttle vs. SUV vs. Sedan — Which Should I Pick?
When is a van the right call?
- 4 or fewer passengers, light luggage — a sedan or SUV is usually cheaper and just as comfortable.
- 5 to 7 passengers — a large SUV (Lincoln Navigator or Suburban) often costs less than a van and fits the group with luggage. We'll quote both options at Check Rates so you can compare side by side.
- 8 to 14 passengers — van shuttle is the clear winner: one driver, one vehicle, one flat rate. Splitting the group across two SUVs almost always costs more and arrives later.
- Heavy luggage, instruments, ski gear, sports equipment, or strollers — go with a van even if your headcount would fit in an SUV. The cargo room behind the rear seat in a Sprinter is the deciding factor.
- Late-night arrivals, early-morning departures, or weather-disrupted travel — vans handle these the same as any other trip. We track your flight on DFW, DAL, IAH, HOU, AUS, SAT, ELP, and MAF, so a delay doesn't strand your group.
Common Van Shuttle Routes Out of East Texas and the Metroplex
Where do most of our van shuttle groups go?
Texas Shuttle van service runs door-to-door anywhere in Texas, but the highest-volume group routes we operate include:
- Van and East Texas towns to DFW International Airport — typical drive time 95-130 minutes via I-20 westbound. Common for family vacations, mission trips, and cruise transfers connecting through DFW.
- DFW Airport to North Dallas suburbs (Allen, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, The Colony, Grapevine) — typical drive time 35-60 minutes. Common for wedding parties booking the Omni PGA Frisco Resort and hotels near the Stonebriar / Legacy West corridor.
- DFW Airport to downtown Dallas or Fort Worth hotels (Fairmont Dallas, Adolphus, downtown Fort Worth) — typical drive time 25-45 minutes. We use the Prearranged Limo curbside at DFW for the cleanest pickup.
- Dallas Love Field (DAL) to downtown / Fort Worth — typical drive time 20-50 minutes. Pickup is at the Oversized Vehicles area on the lower level Ground Transportation ramp.
- Houston Hobby (HOU) or IAH to Galveston cruise port — ~42 miles, typical drive time 60-80 minutes. Our most common cruise transfer; we time pickups around your ship's boarding window so you're not waiting in the cruise terminal lot for hours.
- Austin-Bergstrom (AUS) to San Antonio downtown — ~75 miles, typical drive time 90-110 minutes on I-35. Common for conference and bachelor/bachelorette groups.
- El Paso (ELP) and Midland (MAF) regional connections — long-haul West Texas pickups for energy-sector teams and ski groups headed to nearby resorts.
If your route isn't listed, that doesn't mean we don't run it — we operate door-to-door anywhere in Texas, including the long East Texas runs out of Van, Canton, Lindale, Tyler, and Longview.
Group Travel Tips for Van Shuttles
How do I coordinate a group pickup smoothly?
For groups of 5 or more leaving from East Texas or anywhere else in the state, a few practical things make the pickup smoother:
- Single pickup address beats multiple stops. If your group is spread across different houses or hotels, having everyone meet at one address (a host's house, a church, a school parking lot, a single hotel lobby) saves 15-30 minutes versus a multi-stop route. We can do multi-stop, but the single-meet approach almost always gets you to the airport with less stress.
- Build in extra time for an 8+ passenger van vs. a sedan. Loading luggage for a full van takes longer than for a single passenger. Our scheduler already factors this in — you don't need to add buffer yourself, but it's why your pickup time is earlier than a solo traveler would expect.
- One credit card for the group is fastest. You can book the whole van under one name and pay once. We don't split the bill across passengers at the door.
- Bring soft-sided luggage where possible. Hard cases are fine, but soft duffels Tetris into the rear cargo area more efficiently — useful for sports teams and ski groups headed to ELP or MAF connecting flights.
- Confirm your pickup point 24 hours ahead. If you're changing addresses, finishing a conference at a different venue than where you started, or boarding a cruise ship, just text the dispatch line and we'll update it. No charge to change the address.
