How We Compare (facts from competitors' published pages, checked 9/17/2026)

  • SuperShuttle Houston: their own airport pages publish zero static prices — fares are hidden behind a JavaScript booking flow, so you cannot see a number until you hand over your trip details. We print every fare on this page and in the tool before you commit anything.
  • Our published prices vs. their estimates: a private sedan from central Houston to IAH is $41.75–$46.22 total — for 2–3 riders that is about $14–$23 per person, nonstop, door to door, any hour.
  • Galveston-bound? We also run the Houston to Galveston cruise shuttle door to door.

Trust & Service Guarantees

  • 24/7/365 dispatch — any flight into IAH or Hobby, any hour.
  • Fingerprint background-checked drivers — every driver is vetted and licensed before their first Houston trip.
  • Flight tracking included — delays are monitored and pickup adjusted automatically, no charge.
  • Free date/time changes — change any reservation at no cost.
  • Private, non-stop rides only — no shared stops, no surge pricing, no packing in with strangers.

Which Houston Airport? IAH vs. Hobby

  • IAH (Bush Intercontinental) — north Houston, most international arrivals. We pick up at the Prearranged curb on the arrivals level of your terminal and drop at your airline's door.
  • Hobby (HOU) — south side, mostly Southwest and domestic. Curbside pickup at Ground Transportation; about 12 miles from downtown.

Keep your phone on after landing — your driver calls or texts the moment you arrive.

Heading the other direction from East Texas? Our Beaumont to IAH shuttle page covers the Beaumont→IAH leg of this network.

How is Your Service Different?

  • Any Address - We pick up and drop off at your home, business, hotel or any airport.
  • Better - most rides are non-stop and no sharing in a Nice Car, SUV or Shuttle.
  • Flexible - we pick you up on your schedule 24/7. It's also always free to change the date or time if your flight changes.
  • Safer - we don't leave you at a bus stop, and all our drivers go through nationwide fingerprint background checks.
  • Faster - most rides take half the time, because it's just you in the vehicle. No need to stop and wait everywhere.
  • Convenient - Door to Door means no need to arrange or pay for a Taxi or Lyft to get home.
  • Affordable - once you add it all up, it's the same price or less than other shared ride shuttles for two or more people, or less than Uber with just one person.

Our Daily Schedule (Houston)

What is your daily schedule?

We pick you up on your schedule 24/7 and take you anywhere in the Houston metro — your home, hotel, or office, Bush Intercontinental (IAH), Hobby Airport (HOU), and the Cruise Port of Galveston. Our professional shuttle drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your pickup address in Houston, or right on time at the airport or cruise terminal. You pick the time we pick you up. Normally 30 minutes after you land is enough time to get your bags and find your driver. Heading into Houston from New Braunfels? See our New Braunfels to Houston shuttle page for direct service.

What is my pickup time at IAH or Hobby?

We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after for international flights, at both IAH and Hobby. If you don't have bags, you can schedule your pickup time for 15 minutes after you land, or 30 minutes for international flights with no bags. Your driver meets you at the airport's designated prearranged pickup area and calls or texts when they are at the curb, so keep your phone on and ringer up. Traveling with a larger group? See our van shuttle service in Texas page for direct service.

What happens if my flight is delayed into Houston?

Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights at IAH or Hobby, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights. Please let us know as soon as possible if your flight number changes. You can always text us if there is a delay. This is helpful since airlines don't always update things online when they are late. Picking up just inside the loop in Bellaire? See our Bellaire shuttle to Hobby & IAH for direct Hobby and IAH rides.

What happens if my flight into Houston arrives early?

Call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early at IAH or Hobby, and we will let your shuttle driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation. If it's hot outside, please wait inside the terminal closest to your pickup spot until your car or airport shuttle is a minute or so away. Heading in from the southwest? See our Missouri City shuttle to Hobby & IAH page for direct service.

How soon should I make a reservation?

Although there is no set rule that prevents booking a Houston Shuttle last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible so a shuttle driver is available and prevent any delays with picking you up. There's no need to confirm again if you've already made a reservation, and received a confirmation email.

How long does it take from Houston to Galveston?

Trips between Houston and Galveston are non-stop — about 50 minutes from Hobby Airport and about an hour and a half from Bush Intercontinental (IAH) in normal traffic, door to door from your Galveston pickup. Unlike a bus or another shared ride shuttle, we don't stop and wait 3-5 times to pick up other people, and we leave on your schedule, not a fixed timetable. Riding from the Trinity Bay shore in Beach City? See our Beach City to Hobby & IAH shuttle for direct Hobby and IAH rides.

What time should I be picked up?

For sailings out of the Port of Galveston, plan to reach the pier with time to spare before your check-in window closes — tell us your cruise line and sailing time when you book and we plan the pickup so you get there comfortably. For flights, three hours before departure is normally enough time from most Houston addresses. Boarding usually starts 30 minutes before your plane takes off, and arriving 90 minutes ahead is generally okay. Catching a dawn departure out of IAH or Hobby? Our Houston early morning shuttle page covers pre-6 a.m. Houston pickups with flat, reserved fares.

Cruise Port of Galveston Shuttle

Sailing out of the Port of Galveston? We take cruise passengers door-to-door from any Houston address, hotel, or airport — including Hobby (HOU) and Bush Intercontinental (IAH) — straight to your ship at the cruise terminal, 24/7. Tell us your cruise line and sailing time when you book, and we plan the pickup so you reach the pier with time to spare. Coming home, we meet you right at your terminal on Harborside Drive and take you back to Houston non-stop. Planning a different trip? See our Nacogdoches to Houston shuttle page for flat-rate service details and online booking.

What does a Houston to Galveston shuttle cost? Recent confirmed trips between Houston and Galveston start from $80, and most confirmed door-to-door trips run $96–$231 each way depending on your pickup address and vehicle. Round trips save you 10%. Planning a different trip? See our Houston to Nacogdoches shuttle page for flat-rate service details and online booking.

Going to the port? See our Houston to Galveston shuttle page for cruise-terminal details and online booking. Coming home after your cruise? Our Galveston to Houston shuttle page covers pickup at all four Galveston cruise terminals.

What are the benefits of using our service?

Door to door shuttle service is included on all our trips. Usually trips in Texas are non-stop in a nicer vehicle. Texas Shuttle can pick you up in Houston, or your home anytime 24/7. We normally take you straight there, which is very different from other companies that leave you at a bus stop in Texas, and stop and wait repeatedly. We also don't pack you in with 8-54 people you don't know.

Does it cost anything to change my reservation?

You can change the date and time of your reservation at no cost. If you don't know the exact address, you can enter the city for now and reserve it, then give us the full address later. If you don't know your flight number landing in Houston, you can estimate the time and update the flight number and time later. Landing at IAH or Hobby after midnight? Our Houston late night airport shuttle page covers red-eye arrivals at both Houston airports with a reserved driver waiting.

Our Nicer Vehicles

What type of vehicle will pick me up?

We send a Houston Shuttle or SUV (4+ passengers) or a nice car (1-3 passengers) anytime and take you to any address in Houston Texas, not just the airports. Our Houston vehicles are clean and newer. Most vehicles are luxury and full size. We have Mercedes Sprinter Shuttles, Lincoln Navigators, Lincoln MKZ's, and a variety of other vehicles.

Which vehicle fits my group? Houston options by party size and luggage:

  • Nice car (sedan) — 1 to 3 passengers: the workhorse for IAH, Hobby and Galveston runs.
  • Large SUV — up to 4 passengers: extra cargo room for cruise-port luggage.
  • Shuttle van (Mercedes Sprinter) — up to 8 passengers: the whole group in one vehicle, non-stop.

Every option is private and door to door — the vehicle class you book is the class that arrives.

Pickup Locations

Your Texas Shuttle picks you up where it says Prearranged at the airport. If you are in a wheelchair, do not allow your attendant to leave you anywhere except Prearranged. The signs are easy to see, and they are always at the curb.
Security won't allow drivers to wait or walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle, so good communication is essential. Turn on your cell phone and take it off airplane mode and silent, so your driver can call or text you. If you don't recognize the number, it's probably your driver.

IAH - Pre-arranged Limo is located at the arrivals-level curb of each terminal.

  • Terminals A, B, C, D and E all have Prearranged signs on the arrivals level. Please choose the closest one to your gate and let your driver know when they call or text you.
  • Hobby (HOU) - Pre-arranged Limo is at the Ground Transportation curb outside baggage claim. Let your driver know when they call or text you.

Our Better Drivers (Houston)

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a shuttle from Houston Airport?

Real bookable fares (September 2026): a private sedan from central Houston to IAH is $41.75-$46.22 total, to Hobby $38.40. SUVs are $71.87 for up to 4 passengers and shuttle vans $143.75 for up to 8. The price is for the whole vehicle, door to door - not per person.

Do you serve both IAH and Hobby airports?

Yes - 24/7 door-to-door service to and from both George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU). At IAH we meet you at the Prearranged curb on your terminal's arrivals level; at Hobby, at Ground Transportation.

How does this compare to SuperShuttle Houston?

SuperShuttle's Houston pages publish no static prices - you must go through their booking flow to see a number. We print real fares on this page ($38.40-$143.75 by vehicle) pulled from our live reservation system, and every ride is private and non-stop: no shared stops, no surge pricing.

Is the price per person or for the whole vehicle?

For the whole vehicle, door to door. A $46.22 sedan carries 1-3 people, so a couple pays about $23 each. An 8-passenger van at $143.75 works out to under $18 per person at full capacity.

Do you offer a Galveston cruise shuttle from Houston?

Yes - we run private door-to-door service from Houston and IAH to the Galveston cruise terminals (25, 26, and 28). See our Houston to Galveston cruise shuttle page for terminal details and post-cruise return scheduling.

Houston Shuttle FAQ: Booking, Pickup & Discounts

When will I get my driver's name and phone number?

We usually email your driver's name and phone number between 5 and 7 p.m. the evening before your trip, so you can call or text them directly. Your driver won't call you before pickup - on travel day they'll call or text you once your flight lands. If you don't see the driver details by the evening before, just contact us and we'll get them to you.

Where do I meet my driver at IAH or Hobby?

After you land and have your luggage, your driver will call or text you to arrange exactly where to meet - typically just outside baggage claim on the arrivals level. Since you'll have your driver's name and phone number the evening before, the easiest thing is to text them when you reach baggage claim and they'll direct you to the exact pickup spot.

Do you offer round-trip discounts or promo codes?

Yes. Enter the promo code ONLINE at booking to save 10% for booking online, or book a round trip to save more in both directions. The promo code NONSTOP gets you a free upgrade to a non-stop ride.

How much luggage can I bring on a Houston airport shuttle?

Reasonable luggage is included in your trip. Oversized or extra items should be noted at booking.

Do you monitor flight delays at IAH and Hobby?

We monitor your flights and adjust pickup times accordingly to ensure you are never left stranded.

How far in advance should I book my Houston airport shuttle?

Same-day bookings usually work, but 24 hours ahead guarantees your vehicle class. Dispatch runs 24/7, so early-morning IAH departures and late-night Hobby arrivals are normal bookings, not exceptions.

Do you pick up late at night or very early in the morning?

Yes — the schedule is yours 24/7. Your driver is normally 5-10 minutes early at your door, and time changes are free if your flight moves.

Private, non-stop and door to door, 24/7 — every driver passes a nationwide fingerprint background check, and date or time changes are always free if your flight moves. Questions? Call (817) 403-6196.
