  • Flexible - we pick you up on your schedule 24/7. It's also always free to change the date or time if your flight changes.
  • Safer - we don't leave you at a bus stop, and all our drivers go through nationwide fingerprint background checks.
  • Faster - most rides take half the time, because it's just you in the vehicle. No need to stop and wait everywhere.
  • Convenient - Door to Door means no need to arrange or pay for a Taxi or Lyft to get home.
  • Affordable - once you add it all up, it's the same price or less than other shared ride shuttles for two or more people, or less than Uber with just one person.

Our Daily Schedule (San Antonio)

What is your daily schedule?

We pick you up on your schedule 24/7, and take you anywhere in Dallas and Fort Worth. Our professional shuttle drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home in Fort Worth and Dallas, or right on time at Dallas Fort Worth. You pick the time we pick you up. Normally 30 minutes after you land is enough time to get your bags and find Prearranged.

What is my pickup time at DFW?

We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 mins after for international flights. If you don't have bags, you can schedule your pickup time for 15 mins after you land, or 30 mins for international flights with no bags.

What happens if my flight is delayed in Dallas?

Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights at DFW, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights. Please let us know as soon as possible if your flight number changes. You can always text us if there is a delay. This is helpful since airlines don't always update things online when they are late.

What happens if my flight in Dallas arrives early?

Call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early at Dallas Fort Worth, and we will let your shuttle driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation. If it's hot outside, please wait inside the DFW terminal closest to prearranged until your car or airport shuttle is a minute or so away.

How soon should I make a reservation?

Although there is no set rule that prevents booking a San Antonio Shuttle last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible so a shuttle driver is available and prevent any delays with picking you up. There's no need to confirm again if you've already made a reservation, and received a confirmation email.

How long does it take from Dallas or Fort Worth Texas?

Texas Shuttle trips from Dallas or Fort Worth Texas in normal traffic are about an hour and forty minutes versus three and a half hours on the bus with a bunch of people. Rush hour in downtown Dallas and Fort Worth will normally add 15-45 mins (30 mins on the average). You might think there's no way a bus or another shared ride shuttle company in Dallas or Fort Worth Shuttle would take that long, but they stop and wait 3-5 times to pickup people. Buses and other shuttles also don't leave on your schedule, so you might wait 30 mins - 1.5 hours if the bus is running late. With us it's just you going straight to Fort Worth or Dallas, normally non-stop in a nicer vehicle or shuttle.

What time should I be picked up?

The drive to Fort Worth is about 1 hour and 40 minutes. 3 hours and 30 minutes before your flight is normally enough time if you're going to DFW. Dallas Fort Worth recommends you be there 2 hours early to get through security and find your gate. Boarding in Dallas usually starts 30 mins before your plane takes off. However, one hour and thirty mins is generally okay. Dallas and Fort Worth Shuttle driving takes about 2 hours, then 3 and a half hours before your flight takes off is normally good. You start running the risk that they will give your seat away in Dallas about 40 mins before your flight takes off. Sometimes a little extra time is good and makes your trip to Fort Worth stress free by adjusting for the unexpected.

San Antonio Shuttle Service: Airports and Intercity, Grounded in Real Trips

Texas Shuttle runs private, door-to-door shuttle service to and from San Antonio 24/7 — airport runs to San Antonio International (SAT), long-haul intercity runs to Houston and Dallas, and everything between. Across recent completed Texas Shuttle trips touching San Antonio and an airport (n=27), fares averaged $719 (median $603, range $354–$1,951) over an average road distance of 135 miles — these are intercity distances, not metro hops, and sedan trips (n=16) averaged a lower $537 than SUV trips (n=8, averaging $725).

Where we pick up in San Antonio

  • San Antonio International (SAT) — terminal-specific Departures or Arrivals curb, driver meets you at the door.
  • Downtown and the Pearl — Riverwalk hotels, convention-center blocks, and the Pearl district.
  • Military and medical — Joint Base San Antonio (Fort Sam, Lackland, Randolph) gate areas and the South Texas Medical Center corridor.
  • Hill Country addresses — Boerne, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, and New Braunfels pickups quote at the same flat door-to-door logic.

Where we drop off

Anywhere: SAT for departures, IAH and Hobby for Houston connections, DFW and Love Field for Dallas connections, AUS for Austin, plus hotel, convention, and residence addresses in every metro we serve. Long-haul runs (San Antonio ↔ Houston or Dallas) are quoted flat door-to-door — the booking-tool price is the total, with no fuel surcharge or airport access fee added later, gratuity optional.

Route reality

  • San Antonio → Austin (AUS) — about 80–90 road miles via I-35 North, 75–100 minutes; I-35 through San Marcos and the Austin southbound deck work zones are the choke points.
  • San Antonio → Houston (IAH) — about 190–200 road miles via I-10 East, 2½–3 hours; weekday afternoon Houston inbound rush stretches the last hour.
  • San Antonio → DFW — roughly 270 road miles via I-35 North, 4–4½ hours; we schedule a mid-route driver break on this one.

Traveler notes

  • Book long-haul a day ahead — dispatch confirms the night-before pickup window and positions drivers early; same-day long-haul is possible by phone at (817) 403-6196.
  • Flight tracking included on airport returns — delayed inbound flights get adjusted pickups at no extra charge.
  • Car seats on request — supplied at no surprise charge (Texas law: children under 8 or under 4'9").
  • Round trips with promo code ONLINE save 10%.

Nearby corridors: New Braunfels to Austin and the Austin shuttle service hub.

Your Ride, Your Way: San Antonio Shuttle Service on Your Schedule

A prearranged San Antonio shuttle takes the guesswork out of getting to and from San Antonio International Airport (SAT). Whether you're flying in for a convention downtown, catching an early departure out of SAT, or need a ride from your front door in Alamo Heights to the check-in counter, you can reserve a shared ride van, an exclusive private van, or an ExecuCar black car — and book online 24/7, because we pick you up on your schedule, around the clock.

There's a reason demand keeps growing. With more than 10 million people flying into and out of this city every year, SAT stays busy from the first early-morning departures until the last late-night arrivals — and a reserved shuttle means you're never gambling on finding a ride at midnight. Your vehicle, your pickup time, and your total are all confirmed before you travel.

Airports We Serve in San Antonio

The primary airport for our San Antonio shuttle service is San Antonio International Airport (SAT), which sits just north of downtown along US Highway 281, inside Loop 410. That location makes SAT an easy ride from most central neighborhoods — Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, Olmos Park, and Castle Hills are all a short drive away, and downtown hotels near the River Walk, the Alamo, and the Henry B. González Convention Center are typically the closest stops of all. SAT has two passenger terminals, A and B, so confirm your airline's terminal when you book.

San Antonio is also a convenient launch point for longer Texas routes. We serve over 85 airport locations worldwide, including the state's other major hubs: Austin-Bergstrom International Airport up I-35, Houston's George Bush Intercontinental and William P. Hobby airports down I-10, and Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) plus Dallas Love Field to the north. Connecting between cities? See our DFW airport shuttle, Houston airport shuttle, and Austin airport shuttle pages. For the most updated list of locations, visit the Locations section on the top of our home page or call our Customer Care Center at 1-800-BLUE-VAN (258-3826).

Fare Estimates to Popular San Antonio Destinations

We don't post flat rates here, because an honest fare depends on your exact pickup point, vehicle type, time of day, and whether you choose a shared or exclusive ride. What we can show you is the distance behind every quote. The figures below are approximate planning estimates only — always request a quote for your actual fare.

How Do I Get an Accurate Quote?

Getting a real number takes about a minute. To get a quote, use the Get Quote tool located on the top of our home page, open our mobile apps, or call our Customer Care Center at 1-800-BLUE-VAN (258-3826). Enter your pickup address or terminal, your destination, date, time, and passenger count, and the system returns your total before you pay.

Two things to know about that total. First, in most cases and for convenience, a default 18% tip is added to the base fare — and it's clearly displayed in the payment details on the checkout page, so there are no surprises at drop-off. Second, booking your San Antonio shuttle as a round trip saves you 10% compared with two separate one-way rides. If your travel dates are firm, that's the fastest way to lock in savings.

How Should You Compare Shuttle Options at This Airport?

The best ride from San Antonio depends on whether you are heading to a hotel downtown, a home in the suburbs, or another airport entirely — and on what you value most. Here's the honest trade-off:

OptionBest forHow it worksUsually wins on
Shared ride vanSolo travelers, couples, budget tripsYou share the vehicle with other parties and may make multiple stopsPrice
Exclusive (private) vanFamilies, luggage-heavy trips, pets over 25 lbsThe whole vehicle is reserved for your party — no intermediate stopsSchedule control
ExecuCarBusiness travel, special occasionsPrivate black car service to and from SATReliability and comfort
Group transportation (10+)Conventions, weddings, military movesMultiple coordinated vehicles arranged with our teamTotal group logistics

What usually wins on price, and what wins on reliability?

The shared ride almost always wins on price — per-person shared fares are the most economical way to cover the distance to or from SAT. Reliability usually favors an exclusive van or ExecuCar, since the vehicle works only for you and your itinerary. Either way, a reserved shuttle beats rolling the dice curbside, since your pickup is confirmed in advance with a total you've already seen.

How Is Your Service Different?

  • Flexible — we pick you up on your schedule, 24/7. Early departure out of SAT? Late arrival from a connection? Book the time that works.
  • Early, not "eventually." Our professional shuttle drivers are normally 5–10 minutes early for home pickups, or right on time at the airport curb.
  • Landing pickups tied to touchdown. We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after for international flights. If you don't have checked bags, you can schedule pickup 15 minutes after landing — or 30 minutes for international flights with no bags.
  • Round trips save 10% versus booking two one-way rides.

What to Expect: From Booking to Curb

How do you determine my pickup time going to the airport?

When making a reservation, our system uses Google predictive travel time to the airport, and we endeavor to get you there 75–90 minutes prior to a domestic flight departure and 120 minutes prior to an international departure. For home pickups, plan on your driver arriving 5–10 minutes ahead of your scheduled time — so be ready to roll.

Can I reserve a ride at the airport when I arrive?

Yes, but booking ahead is the smarter play: we recommend booking at least 24 hours prior to pickup to ensure availability. Once you land at SAT, check in with our representative at the airport counter during standard business hours — normally about 30 minutes after touchdown is enough time to claim your bags and meet your prearranged ride. If you arrive after standard business hours and there is no representative at the counter, call our 24-hour dispatch at (210) 258-3826 for assistance and you'll be directed to your vehicle.

Pets, kids, and accessibility

  • Pets: under 25 pounds, a pet may ride in an airline-style lap carrier on a shared ride. More than 25 pounds, and the pet must be reserved as part of an Exclusive (Private) Van.
  • Service animals: per ADA requirements, the restrictions above do not affect service animals — they ride with their handlers, always.
  • Children: children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

What If I Need Group Transportation?

If you are traveling with multiple parties — 10 or more people — and need multiple rides, contact our team for assistance instead of booking seat by seat. We regularly coordinate group transportation for conventions downtown, wedding parties, youth sports tournaments, and military travel connected to Joint Base San Antonio's installations at Fort Sam Houston, Lackland, and Randolph. Coordinating as one group keeps your total cost predictable and your arrival times aligned — handy when a whole conference block is checking into River Walk hotels on the same afternoon.

Booking, Confirmation, and Cancellation, Explained

  • Booking: we offer 24-7 online booking options at texasshuttle.com and through our mobile apps. Any information exchanged between your computer and our server during the web-based reservation process is SSL 128-bit encrypted.

SuperShuttle Express and ExecuCar are unable to refund payment if cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or in the event of a no-show.
  • Refund timing: credit card refunds are submitted to the financial institution within 1 business day, but it may take several days to appear on your statement.

San Antonio Shuttle FAQs

How much time in advance do I need to make a reservation?

We recommend booking at least 24 hours prior to pickup to ensure availability. That said, 24/7 online booking means short-notice trips are often possible — call Customer Care at 1-800-BLUE-VAN (258-3826) if you're inside that window.

What if my flight into SAT is delayed?

Landing pickups are scheduled relative to touchdown — about 30 minutes after landing for domestic flights and 45 for international — so a delayed flight simply shifts your pickup. If your plans change substantially, call 24-hour dispatch at (210) 258-3826.

Do you offer a round-trip discount?

Yes. San Antonio airport shuttle round trips save you 10% compared with two one-way bookings.

Can I bring my pet on a shared shuttle?

Pets under 25 pounds may ride in an airline-style lap carrier. Pets more than 25 pounds must be reserved as an Exclusive (Private) Van. Per ADA requirements, these restrictions do not affect service animals.

Do children need an adult?

Yes — children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Data exchanged during our web-based reservation process is SSL 128-bit encrypted, and your full payment details — including the default 18% tip — are displayed on the checkout page before you pay.

What if I'm calling from outside the United States?

Pricing / Fares in San Antonio

How much does a shuttle cost from San Antonio TX?

It depends on the addresses you enter, if it's in the middle of the night or early morning, and the number of people. Check rates by clicking the buttons that say "Check Rates" below. There are different options under "Select Service" like "To Airport" or "From Airport" and "One Way" or "Round Trip". Choose the option called "Any Two Addresses 24/7" for non-airport transportation between any two addresses in Texas. Rates are total, not per person.

How do I save money?

Enter the promo code "ONLINE" for round trips and save 10% for booking online, or book a round trip and save more both ways. You'll also get a free upgrade to non-stop if you use the promo code "NONSTOP". We're here to help; so if you have any questions, feel free call us.

How Do I Get an Accurate Quote?

  • Step 1 - You can just type city and check rates, but we recommend entering the full address to get an accurate quote since we have special rates for certain zip codes and most pricing is mileage based. Once you fill in the addresses, click "View Rates".
  • Step 2 - We include pricing for Texas Taxi, Airport Shuttle and Black Car Service, so you can compare costs and have more options. Choose the type of service you want with the correct number of passengers. Once a price comes up, click "Reserve Now"
  • Step 3 - Enter your name, cell phone and email to save your quote and automatically get a copy sent to your email. We can easily look up your quote by name if you call and finish up your reservation. Just click "Continue"
  • Step 4 - The website won't book anything until you enter a credit or debit card on the final booking screen. You will automatically receive a confirmation email with all the details after you click "Confirm My Reservation".

What are the benefits of using our service?

Door to door shuttle service is included on all our trips. Usually trips in Texas are non-stop in a nicer vehicle. Texas Shuttle can pick you up Dallas, or your home anytime 24/7. We normally take you straight there, which is very different from other companies that leave you at a bus stop in Texas, and stop and wait repeatedly. We also don't pack you in with 8-54 people you don't know.

Does it cost anything to change my reservation?

You can change the date and time of your reservation at no cost. If you don't know the exact address, you can enter the city for now and reserve it, then give us the full address later. If you don't know your flight number landing in Dallas, you can estimate the time and update the flight number and time later.

Our Nicer Vehicles

What type of vehicle will pick me up?

We send a San Antonio Shuttle or SUV (4+ passengers) or a nice car (1-3 passengers) anytime and take you to any address in Fort Worth Texas, not just DFW. Our Dallas and Fort Worth vehicles are clean and newer. Most vehicles are luxury and full size. We have Mercedes Sprinter Shuttles, Lincoln Navigators, Lincoln MKZ's, and a variety of other vehicles.

Pickup Locations

Your Texas Shuttle picks you up where it says Prearranged at DFW or Ground Transportation at Love Field. If you are in a wheelchair, do not allow your attendant to leave you anywhere except Prearranged at DFW. The signs are easy to see, and they are always at the curb.
Security won't allow drivers to wait or walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle, so good communication is essential. Turn on your cell phone and take it off airplane mode and silent, so your driver can call or text you. If you don't recognize the number, it's probably your driver.

DFW - Pre-arranged Limo is located at the lower level of each terminal.

  • Terminal A - Pre-arranged Limo is across the crosswalk from Door A15 and A29. Please choose the closest one to your gate and let your driver know when they call or text you.
  • Terminal B - Pre-arranged Limo is across the crosswalk from Door B8 and B30. Please choose the closest one to your gate and let your driver know when they call or text you.
  • Terminal C - Pre-arranged Limo is across the crosswalk from Door C4, C10, C24 and C30. Please choose the closest one to your gate and let your driver know when they call or text you.
  • Terminal D - Pre-arranged Limo is Downstairs on Level 0 near Door D22.
  • Terminal E - Pre-arranged Limo is Downstairs near Door E35 on Level 0.

Love Field - Ground Transportation is on the lower level down the ramp from the baggage claim. Head to the right, and we pick you up where it says Oversized Vehicles.

Customers calling from an international number can dial 1-520-216-4657 to reach support.
