How is Your Service Different?

  • Any Address - We pick up and drop off at your home, business, hotel or any airport.
  • Better - most rides are non-stop and no sharing in a Nice Car, SUV or Shuttle.
  • Flexible - we pick you up on your schedule 24/7. It's also always free to change the date or time if your flight changes.
  • Safer - we don't leave you at a bus stop, and all our drivers go through nationwide fingerprint background checks.
  • Faster - most rides take half the time, because it's just you in the vehicle. No need to stop and wait everywhere.
  • Convenient - Door to Door means no need to arrange or pay for a Taxi or Lyft to get home.
  • Affordable - once you add it all up, it's the same price or less than other shared ride shuttles for two or more people, or less than Uber with just one person.

Our Daily Schedule (San Antonio)

What is your daily schedule?

We pick you up on your schedule 24/7, and take you anywhere in San Antonio and across Texas. Our professional shuttle drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home, hotel, or office in San Antonio, or right on time at San Antonio International Airport (SAT). You pick the time we pick you up. Normally 30 minutes after you land is enough time to get your bags and meet your driver at the commercial curb.

Need a different leg of the trip? Our Houston To San Antonio Shuttle page covers schedules, fares and door-to-door pickup.

What is my pickup time at SAT?

We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 mins after for international flights. If you don't have bags, you can schedule your pickup time for 15 mins after you land, or 30 mins for international flights with no bags.

What happens if my flight into SAT is delayed?

Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights at SAT, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights. Please let us know as soon as possible if your flight number changes. You can always text us if there is a delay. This is helpful since airlines don't always update things online when they are late.

What happens if my flight into SAT arrives early?

Call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early at SAT, and we will let your shuttle driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation. If it's hot outside, please wait inside the terminal by the lower-level commercial curb until your car or airport shuttle is a minute or so away.

How soon should I make a reservation?

Although there is no set rule that prevents booking a San Antonio Shuttle last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible so a shuttle driver is available and prevent any delays with picking you up. There's no need to confirm again if you've already made a reservation, and received a confirmation email.

How long does it take from San Antonio to other Texas cities?

Texas Shuttle trips from San Antonio to Austin in normal traffic are about an hour and a half (79 road miles) versus three and a half hours on the bus with a bunch of people. The run from San Antonio to Dallas is about 273 road miles — roughly five hours in normal traffic. Rush hour in downtown San Antonio, Austin, or Dallas will normally add 15-45 mins (30 mins on the average). You might think there's no way a bus or another shared ride shuttle company would take that long, but they stop and wait 3-5 times to pickup people. Buses and other shuttles also don't leave on your schedule, so you might wait 30 mins - 1.5 hours if the bus is running late. With us it's just you going straight to your destination, normally non-stop in a nicer vehicle or shuttle.

What time should I be picked up?

SAT is about 13 road miles from downtown San Antonio — a 20-25 minute drive in normal traffic. Being picked up about 2 hours and 30 minutes before your flight is normally enough for a domestic departure: plan to be at the airport 2 hours early to get through security and find your gate, and boarding usually starts 30 mins before your plane takes off. For international flights, plan on being picked up about 3 hours and 30 minutes before departure. Sometimes a little extra time is good and makes your trip to the airport stress free by adjusting for the unexpected.

Where we pick up in San Antonio

  • San Antonio International (SAT) — terminal-specific Departures or Arrivals curb, driver meets you at the door.
  • Downtown and the Pearl — Riverwalk hotels, convention-center blocks, and the Pearl district.
  • Military and medical — Joint Base San Antonio (Fort Sam, Lackland, Randolph) gate areas and the South Texas Medical Center corridor.
  • Hill Country addresses — Boerne, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, and New Braunfels pickups quote at the same flat door-to-door logic.

Where we drop off

Anywhere: SAT for departures, IAH and Hobby for Houston connections, DFW and Love Field for Dallas connections, AUS for Austin, plus hotel, convention, and residence addresses in every metro we serve. Long-haul runs (San Antonio ↔ Houston or Dallas) are quoted flat door-to-door — the booking-tool price is the total, with no fuel surcharge or airport access fee added later, gratuity optional.

Route reality

  • San Antonio → Austin (AUS) — about 80–90 road miles via I-35 North, 75–100 minutes; I-35 through San Marcos and the Austin southbound deck work zones are the choke points.
  • San Antonio → Houston (IAH) — about 190–200 road miles via I-10 East, 2½–3 hours; weekday afternoon Houston inbound rush stretches the last hour.
  • San Antonio → DFW — roughly 270 road miles via I-35 North, 4–4½ hours; we schedule a mid-route driver break on this one.

Traveler notes

  • Book long-haul a day ahead — dispatch confirms the night-before pickup window and positions drivers early; same-day long-haul is possible by phone at (817) 403-6196.
  • Flight tracking included on airport returns — delayed inbound flights get adjusted pickups at no extra charge.
  • Car seats on request — supplied at no surprise charge (Texas law: children under 8 or under 4'9").

What are the benefits of using our service?

Door to door shuttle service is included on all our trips. Usually trips in Texas are non-stop in a nicer vehicle. Texas Shuttle can pick you up in San Antonio, or your home anytime 24/7. We normally take you straight there, which is very different from other companies that leave you at a bus stop in Texas, and stop and wait repeatedly. We also don't pack you in with 8-54 people you don't know.

Does it cost anything to change my reservation?

You can change the date and time of your reservation at no cost. If you don't know the exact address, you can enter the city for now and reserve it, then give us the full address later. If you don't know your flight number landing at SAT, you can estimate the time and update the flight number and time later.

Pickup Locations

Your Texas Shuttle driver picks you up at the outer commercial curb on the lower (arrivals) level of Terminal A or Terminal B at San Antonio International Airport (SAT). The lane directly in front of baggage claim is for private vehicles only — prearranged commercial pickups use the outer curb, across the marked crosswalk from baggage claim. If you are in a wheelchair, do not allow your attendant to leave you anywhere except the commercial curb. The signs are easy to see, and they are always at the curb.
Security won't allow drivers to wait or walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle, so good communication is essential. Turn on your cell phone and take it off airplane mode and silent, so your driver can call or text you. If you don't recognize the number, it's probably your driver.

SAT - Terminal A: after baggage claim, go down to the lower-level arrivals roadway and head to the outer commercial curb. Terminal A serves Southwest, Delta, and all international carriers.

SAT - Terminal B: same lower-level outer commercial curb across from baggage claim. Terminal B serves American and United.

If your driver is not at the curb yet, they are likely staging at the airport's free cell phone waiting lot near Airport Boulevard — call or text them when you are at the curb with your bags, and they will pull around to meet you.
