Shuttle to Forney TX: Serving Kaufman County's Fastest-Growing City
Forney's growth is no accident. U.S. Highway 80 — a major east-west roadway across the southern United States — runs directly through the City of Forney, with growing residential and business development on both sides of the four-lane divided highway. Combine that with Interstate 20 less than five miles away, and Forney businesses and residents have immediate access to a wide range of transportation options for business and travel.
Forney's strategic location in the south central United States allows distributors to reach over 63 million people within a day's drive, according to the Forney Economic Development Corporation. That same connectivity works in travelers' favor: from Forney, you can reach DFW International, Dallas Love Field, downtown Dallas, and Fort Worth via the region's network of interstates — I-30, I-35, I-45, and I-635, the loop around Dallas.
Our route takes advantage of these major highways, including Interstate 20 and State Highway 193, ensuring a smooth journey through the Forney area. Local road improvements continue to make access even easier — recent and ongoing projects include the widening and reconstruction of FM 1641 from a rural two-lane road to a four-lane urban road stretching from FM 548 to FM 148, and improvements along U.S. Highway 80 to FM 205.
How the Forney Shuttle Service Works
Texas Shuttle is a private, prearranged service — not a shared van packed with strangers. We don't pack you in with 8–54 people you don't know. Instead, you get a dedicated vehicle and driver for your party:
- 1–3 passengers: A nice car, dispatched to your address
- 4+ passengers: A shuttle or SUV with room for your whole group
We operate 24/7, so whether your flight departs at 5 AM or lands after midnight, Texas Shuttle can pick you up in Dallas, Fort Worth, Forney, or your home anytime. And we don't stop at the airports — we'll take you to any address in Fort Worth, Dallas, or across Texas, not just DFW.
Where We Take You: Airports and Cities
DFW International Airport
DFW offers passenger and commercial services to over 250 destinations throughout the United States and the world, making it the primary international gateway for Forney travelers. Our drivers know all five terminals and will drop you at the correct door for your airline.
Dallas Love Field
Dallas Love Field, home of Southwest Airlines, carries over 17 million passengers a year to over 60 nonstop destinations throughout the United States and also handles commercial cargo and freight transportation. For many Forney travelers flying Southwest, Love Field is the more convenient downtown-side airport, and our door-to-door service covers it.
Combine, TX and Surrounding Communities
Combine is about 12 miles southwest of Forney, and residents there get the same flat-rate door-to-door service, 24/7 dispatch, and direct routing to DFW International and Dallas Love Field. We serve the broader Kaufman County and eastern Metroplex area, so if you live just outside Forney city limits, ask us about coverage for your address.
Any Two Addresses in Texas
Not flying? Choose the option called "Any Two Addresses 24/7" for non-airport transportation between any two addresses in Texas. This covers trips to Dallas for a Cowboys game, a hospital appointment in the Medical District, a corporate event in Fort Worth, or a long-distance run across the state.
Forney Shuttle vs. Other Transportation Options
Forney travelers have a few ways to reach DFW and Love Field. Here's an honest comparison to help you choose the right option for your trip:
| Option | Availability | Pickup Style | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Texas Shuttle (private, prearranged) | 24/7 by reservation | Door-to-door from any Forney address | Families, groups of 4+, early flights, travelers with lots of luggage |
| Rideshare apps | On demand, subject to driver availability in Forney | Door pickup, variable vehicle type | Solo travelers with flexible schedules who don't mind price fluctuation |
| STAR Transit (public) | Scheduled routes and concierge service | Fixed stops and scheduled pickup | Budget-conscious local riders, ADA-accessible transportation needs |
| Drive and park at DFW | Anytime | You drive yourself | Short trips where parking costs and hassle are acceptable |
One important note on public transit: STAR Transit, the public transportation provider for Kaufman County and the region, was named Outstanding Rural Transit System by the Texas Transit Association in 2019. STAR provides scheduled and concierge transportation for over 235,000 riders per year utilizing a fleet of ADA-compliant vehicles. It's an excellent resource for local, scheduled travel within the region — but for a direct, private run from your doorstep to an airport terminal at 4 AM, a prearranged shuttle is purpose-built for the job. See startransit.org to "catch a Star" for local scheduled service.
Pricing and Fares to and from Dallas
We can't print a one-size-fits-all price here — and you should be skeptical of any Forney shuttle page that does. Most pricing is mileage-based, and we have special rates for certain zip codes, so the fare from one Forney address can differ from another across town.
What we can tell you is how our pricing works:
- Every quote includes pricing for Texas Taxi, Airport Shuttle, and Black Car Service, so you can compare costs and vehicle classes side by side before you commit.
- Round trips booked online save money both ways — enter promo code ONLINE for an exclusive 10% discount on round trips.
- Combine residents and travelers from nearby communities receive the same flat-rate door-to-door service as Forney addresses.
- The quote you see on screen is the quote you book — no hidden fees added at checkout.
Any fare figures you find elsewhere online for this route should be treated as estimates only. The only accurate price is the live quote generated for your specific addresses.
How Do I Get an Accurate Quote?
Getting an exact price takes about two minutes:
- Step 1: You can just type a city and check rates, but we recommend entering the full address to get an accurate quote, since we have special rates for certain zip codes and most pricing is mileage based.
- Step 2: We include pricing for Texas Taxi, Airport Shuttle, and Black Car Service, so you can compare costs and have more options in one screen.
- Step 3: Once a price comes up, click "Reserve Now," then enter your name, cell phone, and email to save your quote and automatically get a copy sent to your email.
- Step 4: Just click "Continue." The website won't book anything until you enter a credit or debit card on the final booking screen — browsing and saving quotes is always free.
Prefer to talk it through? Call (817) 403-6196 between 9 AM and 7 PM CST and a real person will build the quote with you.
Our Nicer Vehicles
The vehicle that arrives at your door depends on your party size — and it's always clean, late-model, and professionally maintained:
- 1–3 passengers: A nice car with trunk space for standard luggage
- 4+ passengers: A Forney Shuttle van or SUV so your group rides together, not in separate vehicles
- Black Car Service: Available as an upgrade when you compare your quote options, for executives and special occasions
Because your ride is private, you control the climate, the conversation, and the stops. Need a grocery run or pharmacy stop on the way home from the airport? Just ask when you book.
Pickup Locations: Where Your Driver Meets You
At Your Home, Hotel, or Office in Forney
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. That buffer keeps your departure on schedule even if your street has construction, event traffic, or a locked gate code we need to navigate.
At DFW Airport Arrivals
When you land at DFW, your prearranged driver will be waiting at the designated prearranged limo areas. Security won't allow drivers to wait or walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle, so good communication is essential — keep your phone on and answer when your driver calls or texts after landing.
Here's exactly where to meet your driver at every DFW terminal:
- Terminal A: Level 1 — Prearranged Limo is across the crosswalk from Door A15 and A29
- Terminal B: Level 1 — Prearranged Limo is across the crosswalk from Door B8 and B30
- Terminal C: Level 1 — Prearranged Limo is across the crosswalk from Door C4, C10, C24 and C30
- Terminal D: Level 0 — Prearranged Limo is downstairs near Door D22
- Terminal E: Level 0 — Prearranged Limo is downstairs near Door E35
Print this list or screenshot it before you fly — finding the right door after a long flight is the last thing you want to figure out on the curb.
Better Drivers (Forney Shuttle)
Every Texas Shuttle driver is a professional — background-checked, licensed, insured, and experienced on North Texas highways. Your driver isn't a gig-economy contractor who signed up last week; they know the I-20 to DFW run, they know Love Field's passenger pickup loop, and they know how to read traffic on Highway 80 at rush hour.
What "better drivers" means in practice:
- They track your flight when you're inbound, so a late landing doesn't leave you stranded
- They communicate clearly — you get your driver's contact information before pickup
- They help with luggage from your door to the vehicle and back
- They know the prearranged pickup points at every DFW terminal by heart
Beyond the Airport: Corporate and Freight Connections
Forney's economy runs on logistics, and transportation infrastructure is a big reason why. Union Pacific operates an intermodal facility in nearby Mesquite, just 12 miles away, giving area businesses freight rail access that pairs with the highway network. For business travelers visiting distribution centers, warehouses, and corporate offices around Forney and Mesquite, Texas Shuttle provides reliable ground transportation between meetings, hotels, and airports — not just home-to-terminal runs.
Need transportation for visiting clients, a convention shuttle, or a recurring corporate account? Call (817) 403-6196 and ask about setting up regular service for your company.
Booking Your Forney Shuttle: What to Know Before You Reserve
A few practical tips that make every trip smoother:
- Book round trips online. Promo code ONLINE saves you 10%, and round trips lock in your return pickup before you leave town.
- Arrive 15–20 minutes early for your scheduled pickup — especially for pre-dawn departures.
- Answer your phone. At the airport especially, security rules limit how far your driver can leave the vehicle, so a quick call or text keeps the connection seamless.
- Book early for peak travel days. Thanksgiving week, spring break, and holiday weekends fill up fastest. Reserving ahead guarantees your vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Forney Shuttle
How do I get an accurate quote for a Forney shuttle?
Enter your full street address rather than just the city. We have special rates for certain zip codes and most pricing is mileage based, so a full address generates a precise fare. Every quote also shows Texas Taxi, Airport Shuttle, and Black Car Service pricing so you can compare. Call (817) 403-6196, 9 AM–7 PM CST, if you'd rather have a person walk you through it.
What time should I arrive at my pickup location?
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. This buffer covers unexpected delays — construction on Highway 80, a closed gate, or a slow elevator at your apartment complex — and keeps your airport arrival on schedule.
How many bags can I transport with Texas Shuttle?
Luggage capacity depends on your vehicle. A car (1–3 passengers) handles standard checked bags and carry-ons for a typical traveler count, while our shuttle or SUV (4+ passengers) offers substantially more cargo room. If you're traveling with oversized items — skis, golf clubs, car seats, or extra bags — mention them when you book so we dispatch the right vehicle.
What happens in case of a flight delay?
For inbound pickups, your driver monitors your flight status and adjusts to your actual arrival time — you don't need to panic over a delayed landing. Keep your phone handy after touchdown, since security rules limit drivers to waiting within 15 feet of their vehicle, and good communication ensures a fast pickup at the correct prearranged door.
Do you only go to DFW, or can you take me somewhere else?
Anywhere. While DFW International and Dallas Love Field are our most requested destinations from Forney, we take you to any address in Fort Worth, Dallas, or across Texas — not just the airports. Choose "Any Two Addresses 24/7" when booking for non-airport trips.
Do I share the shuttle with strangers?
No. Unlike shared-ride services that pack 8–54 passengers into one vehicle, your Texas Shuttle booking is private. Your party rides alone with a professional driver, on your schedule.
Is there a discount for booking online?
Yes — use promo code ONLINE for an exclusive 10% discount on round trips booked through our website. Booking a round trip saves you money both ways compared to two one-way reservations.
