The Joshua → DFW Route: What to Expect

Joshua, TX sits in southern Johnson County, roughly 30 miles southwest of downtown Fort Worth and about 44 road miles from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. For most pickups, our drivers leave Joshua heading north on US-67 to Cleburne–Burleson, jump onto the Chisholm Trail Parkway or I-35W northbound through Burleson and Fort Worth, then transition to I-820 east and SH-183 (Airport Freeway) into the DFW south entrance. Off-peak, the door-to-terminal trip runs about 55–65 minutes. During weekday rush windows (6:30–9 AM and 4–6:30 PM) plan on 70–90 minutes.

We watch real-time TxDOT traffic and your flight status before pickup so the driver leaves Joshua with the right buffer — not too early, not too late. If I-35W stack is backed up at the I-820 interchange, drivers will often re-route via US-287 north to TX-360 to reach the airport's east entrance instead.
