Conroe to El Campo Shuttle
Texas Shuttle runs a private, door‑to‑door service that links Conroe with El Campo across roughly 91 straight‑line miles. The road route adds a few extra miles and usually takes between 124 and 171 minutes, depending on traffic and the time of day. The primary highway used is I‑45 North, which carries passengers out of Conroe’s northern suburbs — such as April Sound, Lake Conroe and the historic downtown square — before turning southwest toward the coastal plains of Wharton County.
On the El Campo side, the shuttle drops you at any address in the city’s core, near the Wharton County Courthouse, the El Campo Municipal Airport (KELC) and the surrounding agricultural communities. Many travelers use this connection to reach larger hubs: Conroe‑North Houston Regional Airport (KCXO) for regional flights, or Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU) for domestic and international connections. Because the service is private, there are no shared‑ride stops, no waiting for other passengers, and the vehicle proceeds directly along the most efficient corridor.
Drivers are familiar with the peak‑hour patterns on I‑45, the construction zones near the Sam Houston Tollway interchange, and the slower‑moving sections through the smaller towns between Navasota and Wharton. Vehicles are maintained for comfort on longer stretches, with climate control and ample luggage space for typical travel bags. The service operates daily, and the schedule is built around your requested pickup time rather than a fixed timetable.
How long does the trip take?
Typical door‑to‑door travel time ranges from just over two hours to just under three hours (124‑171 minutes), varying with traffic on I‑45 North and any weather‑related delays.

Security won't allow drivers to wait or walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle, so good communication is essential. Turn on your cell phone and take it off airplane mode and silent, so your driver can call or text you. If you don't recognize the number, it's probably your driver.
