What are the benefits of using our service?
Every Conroe ride is private and door-to-door — we pick you up at your home, hotel, or office and take you straight to IAH or Hobby. No bus stops, no waiting on other passengers, no 8–54 strangers in the van. Trips from Conroe are normally non-stop in a clean, late-model vehicle.
Does it cost anything to change my reservation?
You can change the date or time at no cost. If you don’t know your exact address yet, enter the city for now and update later. If your flight number isn’t set, estimate the time and we’ll adjust once your itinerary firms up.
Our Nicer Vehicles
What type of vehicle will pick me up?
We send a private Texas Shuttle, SUV (4+ passengers), or premium sedan (1–3 passengers) anytime, and we take you to any address in the Houston area — not just the airport. Our vehicles are clean, full-size, and late-model: Mercedes Sprinter shuttles, Lincoln Navigators, Lincoln MKZs, and a variety of other premium vehicles.
Pickup Locations
Your Texas Shuttle picks you up at your Conroe address. For airport returns, we meet you at the prearranged pickup area after baggage claim. Security won’t allow drivers to wait or walk more than 15 feet from their vehicle, so keep your phone on (off airplane mode, off silent) so your driver can call or text. If you don’t recognize the number, it’s probably your driver.
IAH — George Bush Intercontinental Airport pickup: Meet your driver at the lower-level curb of your arrival terminal (A, B, C, D, or E). Your driver will text you the exact pickup point based on your flight’s arrival terminal.
HOU — William P. Hobby Airport pickup: Exit baggage claim and head to the lower-level curb. Your driver will text you the exact pickup zone once you’re landing.
Better Drivers (Conroe to Houston)
Who are your drivers?
Most of our shuttle drivers have been driving professionally in the Houston area for 10+ years. They have excellent people skills and know the I-45 corridor, IAH, and Hobby inside and out — including the fastest routes at any hour. Learn more about our drivers.
Planning Your Conroe Airport Trip
Conroe sits about 40 miles north of downtown Houston on I-45, which keeps both Houston airports within an easy direct run. Knowing the realistic drive times and when to leave is the difference between a relaxed curbside drop-off and a stressful sprint to your gate.
How early should you leave Conroe?
For IAH (George Bush Intercontinental), the trip down I-45 South is typically 45–65 minutes door-to-terminal depending on traffic. For a domestic flight we recommend leaving Conroe at least 3 hours before departure (4 hours for international), which covers the drive plus TSA and check-in with a comfortable buffer. Hobby (HOU) is farther — on the south side of Houston — so add roughly 25–35 minutes versus IAH and plan accordingly.
Watch the I-45 rush hours
Southbound I-45 toward Houston backs up on weekday mornings (roughly 6:30–9:00 a.m.) and the return north slows in the late afternoon (about 3:30–6:30 p.m.). If your flight falls in those windows, we build the extra cushion into your pickup time automatically — you don't have to guess. Our drivers know the I-45 corridor, the Hardy Toll Road alternative, and IAH’s terminal loops well enough to route around the worst of it.
IAH vs. Hobby from Conroe — what it costs
Because Conroe is closer to IAH, fares to George Bush Intercontinental start from $68 for the Conroe–IAH corridor. William P. Hobby is a longer haul across the metro, so those trips typically start from about $105. Both are flat, private, door-to-door rates — no surge pricing and no shared vans — with the exact quote based on your pickup address, party size, and time of day.
Where we pick up in the Conroe area
