Combine is a small town straddling the southern Dallas County / northwestern Kaufman County line, southeast of Dallas along the US-175 / I-20 corridor. From a Combine pickup, the most reliable airport route is FM 1389 west to US-175 northwest, continuing onto I-45 / Julius Schepps Freeway through south Dallas, transitioning to Woodall Rodgers Freeway and I-35E (Stemmons Freeway), then SH-183 TEXpress (Airport Freeway) west into DFW. This is not Highway 183 East — SH-183 is the airport stub at the DFW end; the Combine side of the trip runs primarily on US-175 and I-35E. For Love Field (DAL) we use the same US-175 corridor but exit earlier onto Maple Avenue / Herb Kelleher Way for a direct drop at Love Field's Ground Transportation curb.

- Combine → DFW International (DFW): ~46 road miles, ~60 minutes off-peak. Plan 75–90 minutes during morning (7–9am) and afternoon (4–7pm) rush, when the I-35E / Stemmons leg slows considerably.
- Combine → Dallas Love Field (DAL): ~31 road miles, ~45 minutes off-peak. Love Field is actually closer to Combine than DFW — if your itinerary lets you choose, DAL is the shorter ride and usually the lower flat rate.

Combine-Specific Travel Tips
- Build extra cushion at AM rush. The I-35E / Stemmons stretch through downtown Dallas is the choke point on the Combine→DFW run. For a flight that boards before 9am, we'll typically suggest a pickup 3 hours before scheduled departure for DFW and 2.5 hours before for Love Field.
- Prefer Love Field if your airline serves both. Southwest, plus several Delta / United routes, fly out of DAL. From Combine that saves you roughly 15 road miles and 15–25 minutes each way vs. DFW.
- Address precision matters. Combine has a mix of long rural driveways and gated subdivisions; please give us a full street address (not just “Combine, TX”) so our driver routing and ETAs are accurate. We'll also confirm by text the morning of pickup.
- Returning flights: share your flight number when booking, not just the arrival time. We monitor inbound flights and adjust the pickup automatically if you're early or delayed — no extra fee for a flight delay rescheduling.
