Daily Schedule (Carrollton to Dallas)

What is your daily schedule?

We pick you up on your schedule 24/7, and take you anywhere in Dallas and Fort Worth. Our professional shuttle drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home in Fort Worth and Dallas, or right on time at Dallas Fort Worth. You pick the time we pick you up. Normally 30 minutes after you land is enough time to get your bags and find Prearranged.

What is my pickup time at DFW?

We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 mins after for international flights. If you don't have bags, you can schedule your pickup time for 15 mins after you land, or 30 mins for international flights with no bags.

What happens if my flight is delayed in Dallas?

Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights at DFW, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights. Please let us know as soon as possible if your flight number changes. You can always text us if there is a delay. This is helpful since airlines don't always update things online when they are late.

What happens if my flight in Dallas arrives early?

Call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early at Dallas Fort Worth, and we will let your shuttle driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation. If it's hot outside, please wait inside the DFW terminal closest to prearranged until your car or airport shuttle is a minute or so away.

How soon should I make a reservation?

Although there is no set rule that prevents booking a Carrollton to Dallas Shuttle last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible so a shuttle driver is available and prevent any delays with picking you up. There's no need to confirm again if you've already made a reservation, and received a confirmation email.

How long does it take from Dallas or Fort Worth Texas?

Texas Shuttle trips from Dallas or Fort Worth Texas in normal traffic are about an hour and forty minutes versus three and a half hours on the bus with a bunch of people. Rush hour in downtown Dallas and Fort Worth will normally add 15-45 mins (30 mins on the average). You might think there's no way a bus or another shared ride shuttle company in Dallas or Fort Worth Shuttle would take that long, but they stop and wait 3-5 times to pickup people. Buses and other shuttles also don't leave on your schedule, so you might wait 30 mins - 1.5 hours if the bus is running late. With us it's just you going straight to Fort Worth or Dallas, normally non-stop in a nicer vehicle or shuttle. Carrollton to Fort Worth shuttle

What time should I be picked up?

The drive to Fort Worth is about 1 hour and 40 minutes. 3 hours and 30 minutes before your flight is normally enough time if you're going to DFW. Dallas Fort Worth recommends you be there 2 hours early to get through security and find your gate. Boarding in Dallas usually starts 30 mins before your plane takes off. However, one hour and thirty mins is generally okay. Dallas and Fort Worth Shuttle driving takes about 2 hours, then 3 and a half hours before your flight takes off is normally good. You start running the risk that they will give your seat away in Dallas about 40 mins before your flight takes off. Sometimes a little extra time is good and makes your trip to Fort Worth stress free by adjusting for the unexpected.

Driving Directions: Carrollton to Dallas

Whether you’re commuting to work, heading to a downtown event, or simply exploring the city, knowing the most efficient route from Carrollton to Dallas can save you time and frustration. The primary reference for this guide comes from MapQuest, which lists the shortest drive as 22 minutes covering 19 miles via I‑35E (source: MapQuest). Below you’ll find detailed directions, alternate routes, and practical tips to make your trip as smooth as possible.

Primary Route via I‑35E

Starting from downtown Carrollton (zip 75006), merge onto I‑35E North toward Dallas. Stay on I‑35E for roughly 12 miles, passing the Cedar Hill interchange and the Lake Cliff area. Take exit 429 for Commerce Street and follow the signs toward downtown. This corridor drops you right into the heart of Dallas, near the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and the Arts District. The total distance is about 19 miles, and, under normal traffic conditions, the drive takes around 22 minutes (source: MapQuest).

  • Key exits: Exit 429 (Commerce St), Exit 430 (Riverfront Blvd), Exit 431 (仲恺大道/Industrial Blvd).
  • Traffic patterns: Expect heavier congestion during the morning rush (7 – 9 a.m.) and evening rush (4:30 – 6:30 p.m.) on I‑35E.
  • Toll info: I‑35E is toll‑free for most vehicles, though the Texas 121 Toll (Sam Rayburn Tollway) runs parallel to the north and can be used as an alternate if you have a TxDOT‑compatible tag.

Alternate Routes

If you prefer a less congested path or wish to avoid I‑35E, several alternatives exist:

Via I‑635 (LBJ) and US‑75 (Central Expressway)

From Carrollton, head east on I‑635 West for about 5 miles, then merge onto US‑75 South toward downtown. This route adds roughly 3 miles (≈22 mi total) and can take 25–30 minutes during off‑peak hours. It’s a good option when I‑35E is backed up due to accidents or construction.

Via President George Bush Turnpike (TX‑190) and I‑35E

Travel east on TX‑190 (President George Bush Turnpike) from the Farmers Branch area, then connect to I‑35E South near Addison. This detour adds about 4 miles (≈23 mi) and may be faster if the turnpike is clear. Note that TX‑190 uses electronic tolling; a TxDOT‑compatible tag is recommended.

Via US‑75 and I‑635 Loop

For a scenic route through Addison and Richardson, take US‑75 North from Dallas, then hop onto I‑635 East back toward Carrollton. This loop is roughly 25 miles and can be convenient if you need to stop in those suburbs.

Public Transportation Options

Not everyone wants to drive, and Dallas’ public transit network offers a viable alternative. The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system provides direct rail service between Carrollton and downtown Dallas.

DART Light Rail: Green Line

The Green Line runs from the Carrollton Station (located near I‑35E and Frankford Road) to St. Paul Station in downtown Dallas. According to DART’s schedule, the average travel time is about 30 minutes, and the distance is approximately 14 miles (source: DART.org). Trains operate every 15–20 minutes during peak hours.

  • Frequency: Peak: 10‑15 min; Off‑peak: 15‑20 min.
  • Cost: DART’s standard fare is $3.00 per trip (local bus/rail). All prices are estimates based on DART’s published fare structure (source: DART.org).
  • Accessibility: All stations are ADA‑accessible, with elevators and level boarding.

DCTA A‑Train & Trinity Railway Express (TRE)

For those coming from Denton County, the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) A‑Train provides service from Denton to the Trinity Mills Station, where you can transfer to DART’s Green Line. The combined trip from Denton to Dallas can take about 55–65 minutes, covering roughly 30 miles. The TRE also offers a commuter rail option between Fort Worth and Dallas Union Station, connecting with DART’s Red and Blue lines.

Door to door shuttle service is included on all our trips. Usually trips in Texas are non-stop in a nicer vehicle. Texas Shuttle can pick you up Dallas, or your home anytime 24/7. We also don't pack you in with 8-54 people you don't know.

Does it cost anything to change my reservation?

You can change the date and time of your reservation at no cost. If you don't know the exact address, you can enter the city for now and reserve it, then give us the full address later. Pickup Locations

DFW - Prearranged Limo is located at the lower level of each terminal. Please choose the closest one to your gate and let your driver know when they call or text you.
