Athens to Arlington Shuttle
Travelers moving between the rolling hills of East Texas and the bustling Metroplex find a direct door‑to‑door ride that follows the most efficient corridor. The journey starts in Athens, where the historic courthouse square, the East Tyler Street commercial strip, and nearby Lake Athens State Park sit just off U.S. 175. From there the shuttle merges onto U.S. 175 West, crossing the Trinity River and passing through Kaufman before joining Interstate 35E near the Dallas suburb of Seagoville. The route then continues on I‑35E north, skirting the southern edge of downtown Dallas, and transitions onto Interstate 20 West at the I‑35E/I‑20 interchange. This highway carries the vehicle past the Arlington Entertainment District — home to AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, and the Texas Rangers’ spring training complex — before reaching the final drop‑off at any address in Arlington: hotels near the convention center, residential neighborhoods along Collins Street, the University of Texas at Arlington campus, or the DFW Airport terminals A through E for connecting flights.
The total road distance is roughly 82 miles, and typical door‑to‑door drive time ranges from 111 to 153 minutes depending on traffic patterns around the Dallas‑Fort Worth metro area. Morning rush hour on I‑35E and the I‑20 corridor can add 20‑30 minutes, while late‑evening trips often run closer to the lower end of the window. Because the service is private, the driver meets you at the exact pickup location — whether it’s a home on East Tyler Street in Athens, a business park off FM 1641, or the arrivals curb at DFW Terminal C — and proceeds straight to the destination without intermediate stops.
The shuttle uses a late‑model sedan or SUV equipped with climate control, Wi‑Fi, and charging ports for phones and laptops. Trips can be arranged for early‑morning departures, late‑night arrivals, or any time in between, giving you full control over the schedule.
How long does the trip usually take?
Expect between one hour fifty‑one minutes and two hours thirty‑three minutes from door to door; real‑time traffic on I‑35E and

Security won't allow drivers to wait or walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle, so good communication is essential. Turn on your cell phone and take it off airplane mode and silent, so your driver can call or text you. If you don't recognize the number, it's probably your driver.
