From a Kilgore pickup (zip 75662 and the surrounding US-259 corridor) we run west on I-20 the entire way into Dallas, exiting at Mockingbird Lane / Cedar Springs Road for Love Field. The drive is about 125 miles by road with a moving time of roughly 2 hours 20 minutes in light traffic. The slow stretches, in order, are: the Tyler bypass (Loop 49 vs. I-20 mainline), the Canton/Wills Point segment when a wreck blocks a lane, and the Mesquite/Dallas eastside merge from about 3:30 PM onward on weekdays. For a 6:00 AM flight we typically depart Kilgore at 2:00 AM and arrive curbside at DAL by 4:30 AM with margin for fuel and a quick stretch break.
Recent confirmed Kilgore ↔ Dallas Love Field trips have priced in roughly the $270–$320 range one-way for 1–3 passengers in a sedan or small SUV (door-to-door, no hidden fees, gratuity-not-included). Larger groups in a 4–10 passenger shuttle/SUV cost more on a flat basis but less per seat. Three things move the price:

Dallas Love Field is the closer of the two Dallas airports for downtown Dallas and Uptown destinations, sits about 10 minutes north of downtown via the Dallas North Tollway, and is operated by the City of Dallas. Southwest Airlines accounts for the vast majority of DAL departures (Southwest's headquarters is on the field), with limited service from Delta. If your flight is Southwest, Love Field is almost always the right airport from Kilgore — the drive is the same I-20 corridor but the terminal experience is faster: one terminal, shorter walks, and TSA wait times that average 5–15 minutes off-peak. If you're on American, United, or a wide-body international flight, you'll want our Kilgore to DFW shuttle instead — DFW adds about 20 minutes of drive time but is the right call for those carriers.
Love Field garage parking runs about $22–$26 per day for the close-in garages. A 5-day Kilgore round trip in your own car therefore burns roughly $110–$130 in parking alone, plus about $50–$65 in fuel each way at current East Texas pump prices, plus highway tolls on the North Tollway. For most 1–2 passenger Kilgore trips the shuttle math comes out close to driving-and-parking once you add in the wear on your vehicle, and the shuttle wins decisively for overnight or pre-dawn flights, multi-day trips longer than four days, or anyone uncomfortable driving I-20 in the dark.

For pre-dawn flights we recommend booking the day before so dispatch can pre-assign a driver. We send a clean, late-model sedan for 1–3 passengers or a shuttle/SUV for 4+ passengers, sized to your headcount and luggage. Most of our drivers have driven professionally in Texas for 10+ years, handle your luggage curbside, and know the I-20 corridor cold — including which exits in Mesquite to avoid on a Friday afternoon and which curbside lane at DAL is moving.
