The Grand Hyatt DFW is the only hotel located inside DFW Airport itself — built directly above Terminal D (the international terminal). Most guests can technically reach their gate on foot via the airport's internal walkways and the Skylink train, but with checked bags, an early-morning departure, a group, or a connection from a non-D terminal (A, B, C, or E), a private shuttle is faster and far less stressful than juggling luggage through terminal corridors. Our shuttle picks up from the Grand Hyatt's main entrance off International Parkway and drops you curbside at your specific departure terminal in roughly 5–10 minutes.
For departures, we recommend booking your pickup so that you arrive curbside about 2 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international flight. For arrivals coming back to the Grand Hyatt, just text us your flight number when you book and we monitor it in real time — if your flight is delayed, we adjust automatically at no charge. There is no need to add a buffer for "what if" delays.
What time should I expect to arrive at the airport?
From the Grand Hyatt DFW front entrance to any DFW terminal curb, expect 5–10 minutes of drive time via the airport's internal road network (International Parkway and the terminal access roads). Building in standard security/check-in time, plan to leave the hotel about 1.5 hours before a domestic departure and 2.5 hours before an international departure.
Will you pick me up from my hotel room?
We pick you up at the Grand Hyatt's main lobby entrance (off International Parkway, ground level). Tell us your preferred pickup point when booking — lobby door or porte-cochère — and our driver will meet you there. We do not enter guest rooms or floors; bellhops at the hotel can help bring bags to the curb if needed.
What should I do if I have a delayed flight?
If you're arriving back at DFW and your flight is delayed, you don't need to do anything — we track your flight by number and adjust the pickup time automatically. If you're departing and your flight is delayed or cancelled, just call or text us at (817) 403-6196 and our 24/7 dispatch will rebook your shuttle for free.
Which DFW terminal do you go to?
All five — A, B, C, D (which is the same building as the Grand Hyatt), and E. Tell us your airline at booking and we drop you at the correct terminal's departure-level curb. American Airlines mostly flies from Terminals A, B, C, and D; international carriers and Qantas/British Airways/Lufthansa-style long-haul use Terminal D; Southwest does not operate at DFW (they use Dallas Love Field — see our Grand Hyatt DFW to Love Field shuttle).
