Galveston Cruise Shuttle: Your Terminal, Your Schedule, a Printed Fare
Every Galveston cruise starts with the same problem: the ships sail from an island, and your flight, hotel, or front door is in Houston. Texas Shuttle runs the Houston → Galveston cruise corridor private and door to door, 24 hours a day — from either airport, from downtown hotels, or from home. A flat fare printed below, a named driver, one vehicle for your whole party and every cruise-day bag, and a pickup timed to your flight or your boarding window. No depot, no hourly timetable, no surge pricing at any hour.
Galveston cruise shuttle fares (printed, not an estimate)
Live flat fares returned by our reservation system for a quote date of September 25, 2026. Each fare is the whole-vehicle total, all passengers and luggage included. Choose the row that matches where your cruise day starts:
| Pickup | Sedan (up to 3) | SUV-4 | SUV-6 | Shuttle-8 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IAH → Galveston | $153.53 | $202.06 | $307.73 | $399.19 |
| Hobby (HOU) → Galveston | $86.46 | $112.53 | $173.59 | $220.45 |
| Downtown Houston → Galveston | $108.82 | $142.37 | $218.31 | $280.03 |
What that works out to per person for a cruise group: the Hobby shuttle van at $220.45 is $27.56 per person for eight travelers; the IAH van at $399.19 is $49.90 per person. For a couple flying into Hobby, the sedan at $86.46 is $43.23 per person — private, direct to your terminal queue. Round trips save 10% off each way, so a cruise week with a return pickup drops both legs.
Why the private flat fare beats a per-person shared seat for cruise day
The Houston-to-Galveston shared shuttles advertise a flat seat price around $39 per person — per person, on their schedule, with stops as the van fills, and a return leg that has to fit their timetable after your cruise docks. Our 8-passenger van from Hobby at $27.56 per person is less than that shared seat, private, direct to your terminal, and leaves when you do. From IAH the van is $49.90 per person — still priced like a shared seat for a vehicle that waits for nobody but you. And because the fare is printed above, the number does not move at checkout, which the quote-at-booking operators cannot promise.
Cruise terminals and pickup logistics
Galveston sails from Cruise Terminal 25, Terminal 26, and Terminal 28, plus the Bayport terminal across the bay. Tell us your cruise line at booking and the driver uses the queue your line assigns; post-cruise, we pick you up at the same terminal after your departure slot — the printed fares apply in reverse, and one round-trip reservation covers both legs with the 10% savings. Cruise-day luggage, hard coolers, and strollers ride in the vehicle at no extra charge.
