Fairfield Inn & Suites to DFW International Airport Shuttle
Door-to-door rides between the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Fort Worth I-30 West (6851 West Freeway, near NAS JRB) and DFW International Airport — booked online, dispatched 24/7, with a real human in our Texas office during business hours. Travelers staying at this hotel are usually one of three kinds: families with weekend flights out of DFW, contractors on rotation at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, and visitors in town for events at the Will Rogers Memorial Center or Dickies Arena in the Cultural District. The ride to DFW is the same for all three — clean late-model vehicle, professional driver, fixed door-to-door price.
Route and drive time from 6851 West Fwy to DFW
From the Fairfield I-30 West hotel, the standard route is I-30 East to the SH-183 / Airport Freeway interchange in west Arlington, then SH-183 East directly into the south end of DFW via International Parkway. Total road distance is roughly 25 to 28 miles depending on which DFW terminal you're flying out of. Plan on about 35 minutes off-peak (mid-morning, late evening, weekends) and 45 to 55 minutes during weekday rush (6:30-9:00 AM and 4:00-6:30 PM, when I-30 east through Arlington and the SH-360 split routinely back up). For early-morning international departures we usually pre-stage the vehicle 10-15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time so the driver is already in the porte-cochère when you walk out.
Which DFW terminal do you need?
DFW has five terminals (A, B, C, D, E) and which one you want depends on your airline, not your destination. As a quick guide: American Airlines domestic typically departs from A, B, or C; American international and partner carriers (British Airways, Qantas, Japan Airlines, Qatar, etc.) usually use D; everyone else (Delta, United, Southwest at DFW, Frontier, Spirit, Alaska, Air Canada, etc.) is generally E. We will ask your airline and flight number when you book and drop you at the correct terminal curb — there is no extra charge for terminal selection.
Pickup, luggage, and group size
We pull up under the hotel's porte-cochère on the south side of the building facing West Freeway. The driver will text 5-10 minutes before arrival; you don't need to wait outside in the heat. For 1-3 passengers with normal luggage we send a clean sedan; for 4-6 passengers, a SUV; and for 7 or more (common for NAS JRB crew rotations or family reunions), a shuttle van. Tell us your headcount and bag count when you book so we can right-size the vehicle on the first attempt rather than sending a second car at pickup.
Return trip — DFW to Fairfield Inn I-30 West
For the return leg we use the airport's curbside pickup at your arriving terminal. After you land, text the dispatch number on your confirmation when you have your bags and are heading to the curb; we'll give you a vehicle description and a curb number so you're not searching among 30 black SUVs. If your flight is delayed or rerouted, just let us know — we track inbound flights, but a quick text is the fastest way to make sure the driver is already moving by the time you reach the curb.
What time should I expect for pickup?
For domestic flights at DFW we recommend leaving the hotel about 2 hours and 15 minutes before scheduled departure off-peak, and 2 hours 45 minutes during weekday rush. For international flights add 30 more minutes. The drive itself is 35-55 minutes; the rest is for DFW security and the terminal walk, which can be long at D and E. We'll suggest a pickup time when you book — adjust it down if you're TSA PreCheck and traveling light.
How many bags can I bring with me?
Sedans comfortably handle two passengers with one large checked bag and one carry-on each. For three passengers or extra luggage (golf bags, ski bags, child car seats, NAS JRB sea bags) we'll send an SUV instead — same pricing per the booking tool, just better fit. There's no hard piece-count limit; just tell us what you're bringing.
What happens if there's a flight delay?
Outbound delays: call or text the dispatch number on your confirmation and we'll reschedule the pickup at no charge as long as the new time is more than 60 minutes out. Inbound delays on the return leg: we monitor flight status against the flight number you gave us at booking, so a 30-minute delay usually doesn't require any action from you — but a quick text confirms it. Cancellations or same-day reschedules within 60 minutes of pickup may incur a small fee per our cancellation policy.
